By downloading or using Chip & Split ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and the app developer. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Chip & Split is a chip tracking and settlement calculator for social games. It helps groups track buy-ins and calculate how chips should be settled at the end of a session. The app does not facilitate real-money gambling, betting, or any financial transactions between users.

3. Subscriptions

Chip & Split Pro is an auto-renewable subscription available for $4.99 per year. It unlocks game history, stats, friends, private rooms, themes, and name effects.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
• No refund is provided for the unused portion of an active subscription period.

4. User Accounts

You may use the app as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your account or use another user's account without permission.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the app
• Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit false or misleading information

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the app are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
